To all my brethren in chemestry, I bet you're all laughing right now, both from the scientific incorrectness of the picture, and from the insanity than ensues from trying to comprend equilibrium. For everyone else, potatoes make potatoe salad.Change is inevitable, but sometimes change has no effects. People often talk about how life would be perfect in equilibrium, with perfect balance. But from what I learned in chemestry class, reactions still occur on both sides of the equation in equilibrium, they just don't change anything. In that case, what's so great about change without change?
I'm a chemistry major now.
