Poppies

So I saw the front cover of the North Shore News a few days ago, and noticed that the cover photo was taken really close to my house. See, there's this one field near Inter River Park that has wild poppies growing there. I noticed them last year, but I must say that there are waaayyyy more this year lol. Anyways, that photo on the North Shore News was commemorating D-Day (June 6 1944). It's funny how these poppies happened to be in bloom around the actual date too
